- Summary: Horrible product and do not waste your time and money.
- Comment: This product did not work well with my window xp computer. It did not come with a cd and it was not easy to locate the proper download file. I returned it and bought the Hauppage Wintv. The Hauppage Wintv had a cd,antenna, easy instalation and works incredibly well.

- Summary: tv tuner
- Comment: this is a tv tuner but the big prolem is that it will not work with the comcast network without a ir blaster and a digital converter box

- Summary: Great Device
- Comment: Very Useful and very easy to use. I just need to connect it to the laptop and the cable, after 5 minutes setting up, I have already own 100 channels to watch. Now I can record my favorite show with subtitle included. Only one thing to be perfect, I still need to buy a cable line since it is not provided.
Great Device!

- Summary: Works great, easy setup
- Comment: I've used this with an antenna and my cable on win7 64bit. Just plug it in and windows sets it up for you and works great with media center. The only hitch i've encountered was some mislabeled channels in media center, but I think that's a problem with the downloaded guide, not the tuner. It's awesome with my antenna as the HD broadcasts come through nice and sharp. I'm extremely happy with my purchase. I've actually considered getting another one so I can hook it to cable and antenna so I can have a guide for both. I don't pay for HD cable so I'm happy to get HD over the antenna. The guide for the antenna works great. Makes life easy and cheaper.

- Summary: Just as others said - Great!
- Comment: I have never had one of these tuners, so by the comments others made, I went with this one. Just as they said, it is truly plug and play, instantly installed itself. I read the comments about two different tuners on another site and they seemed to be definitely having some problems with them. I didn't run cable from the antenna to the Avertv Tv Tuner, but ran a 15 foot usb extension cable from the computer to the tuner near the antenna input area. The biggest pain I encountered was setting up Windows Media Center. The Windows help said that WMC was wonderfully intuitive, so I first tried to figure out what to do on my own, definitely loosing some hair before deciding that I needed to read the instructions. I would suggest that you setup at least two inputs during WMC setup, analog and digital (and satellite/cable if you have it). I didn't do that and had to redo it to get all of our paltry number of channels here in Abilene, TX. (not even PBS here). I don't have satellite or cable. Recorded programs are placed in the folder: C:\Users\Public\Recorded TV
Would rather force them where I want them recorded (not the Avertv tuner fault). WMC has a feature that goes to Microsoft to download the TV schedule whereby you can tell WMC to record programs automatically. I tried to record more that one channel at a time, but WMC can't do that.
