- Comment: Super compact, easy to use and the scans are crisp and clean. I was so thrilled with the speed of the scan and the ease of attaching them to email. Just what I needed. I only wish i would have had the for the past 5 years. I cannot imagine how much time I would have been able to spend with my kids instead of waiting for slow scanners or faxes to my PC to come through.
It's so small that when not in use it will fit right in my office cabinet or drawer.
Received it earlier today. I was way behind getting files into my PC for email delivery so I installed the software and hooked up the system in about 5-10 minutes. I'm running Windows 7 so I was worried but before buying I called Fujitsu and they said it would be a seamless install/hook-up and they were correct.
I had 8 real estate files I needed to upload to the company's internal site so I figured hours of waiting and scanning was ahead of me. Each file had at least 70 pages to scan so well over 500 pages. I was complete in less than an hour. The searchable feature is unreal. So easy. Highlight the words and boom the doc is searchable by the highlighted words. LOVE IT~ hope it holds up!

- Comment: I was very impressed with the quality of the images produced with the scanner as well as the speed. I purchased this for a business trip which required me to scan ~1500 color pages in one day. The pages feed easily as long as you only do 20 at a time; anymore caused the scanner to jam. The best thing about the scanner for me was that it scans double sided when it senses that there is writing on the back of a sheet of paper. You don't have to change the properties, it's as simple as loading the pages and hitting the start button. After scanning is complete you can preview the image before saving and then save in a variety of formats.

- Comment: Very happy with my new scanner. Needed something fast and compact. I had the prior model and has been in heavy use for the last year without any major issue. The only thing I still don't get is how to organize the documents properly. I can not drag and place a document on top of other to make one big. I used to do this with another software, but maybe I need to take my time to learn how to use it, which I haven't done. Definately recommend.

- Comment: Wow. I didn't spend the money to purchase this but I use it everyday for my internship. $420? That is insane. The ScanSnap S1500 is NOT worth $420 in any way. I would pay maybe $50 for this thing. More than likely you will be scanning lots of pages with this thing. Let me tell you. It is an absolute headache and I had to write a review because I am at the point where this has driven me absolutely nuts. If you wanna scan lets say 20-40, prepare for it jam up or mis-fead papers at least 3-5 times. That's ten+ percent. For $420 you shouldn't be getting a 90% efficient product. Everytime you have to open the thing up, reorganize your papers and hope for the best. I don't know how many times I've had situations where I would be scanning maybe 20 pages and this stupid overpriced junk would feed 5 pages at a time. It would automatically stop to notify me. I would take it all out, reset position and try again.. and again it would do the same thing for countless times in a row. Its not like these sheets are anything special either. Literally clean printed sheets for scanning.
$420? Fujitsu must be really desperate. That price is a joke. This product is a joke.
